Meet the Founders

Luiz Henrique de Costa
My name is Luiz Henrique de Costa, an Italian entrepreneur driven by technological innovation, resilience, and a strategic vision that has shaped my entire career. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs — my mother in the service sector and my father in industry — I grew up immersed in discipline, management, and the creativity required to build successful businesses.
At the age of 13, I began working in my family’s hardware store, where I first gained experience in customer service, logistics, and organisation. Shortly afterwards, I moved into the industrial sector, working with tooling and mould-making companies. These experiences gave me a strong foundation in precision machining, CNC programming, and the design of moulds and specialised tools.
By the age of 20, I was already working independently as a project developer, combining technical expertise with an entrepreneurial spirit. In 2012, I founded Skala Matrizes, a company recognised for its precision machining and the production of large welding jigs for the automotive sector. Two years later, inspired by my passion for motorbikes, I launched a new venture — Rick Racing — initially dedicated to crafting bespoke racing exhausts.
Through direct contact with riders and racetracks, I identified a gap in the market that led to the creation of the first automated ramp for motorcycle transport. This innovation powered the company’s expansion into a full range of electric, sustainable, and internationally patented ramps. Today, Rick Racing offers more than 20 exclusive models, including modular and adjustable solutions for pickups, vans, trucks, and motorhomes.
I am now focused on Rick Innovations, based in Northern Ireland, established to scale this technology globally and position it as a hub for sustainable mobility and logistics. I believe in combining deep technical knowledge with strategic vision to deliver scalable solutions that create jobs, strengthen the economy, and export innovation with a lasting positive impact.
Cristiane Helena Hoffmann de Costa
With a degree in Economics, I built a solid career in procurement for large companies, gaining extensive experience in negotiation and decision-making under high-demand and budget-constrained environments. Throughout my career, I have been guided by three core values: effective negotiation, financial organisation, and integrity.

I have led cost-reduction projects, implemented ERP systems, and managed teams with a balance of strategic insight and data-driven analysis. Over time, I realised I could go beyond the corporate world. This drive led me towards entrepreneurship, where I found the opportunity to combine my professional expertise with my desire to innovate.
Today, I am the co-founder of a business dedicated to logistics innovation, focused on developing automated ramps for transporting motorcycles and other cargo. For me, this is more than just a product — it is a way to transform real needs into practical solutions that deliver safety, sustainability, and efficiency.
I believe entrepreneurship is about creating intelligent solutions that look beyond the present, generating real value for both people and businesses. This is the commitment I bring to every project: combining strategic vision with hands-on experience to build a more efficient and sustainable future.
